"ROCK OUT" Student Rock Bands
LOCATION: Rock Out Academy
CLASS DAYS
TUESDAYS 7:30-8:30 PM
FRIDAYS 5 PM-6 PM
SUNDAYS 1 PM-2 PM
AGES: 8-ADULT
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Students are formed into a rock band and learn what it’s like to be in a real band. Each band will learn 5-8 songs including one original song that they will co-write together!
The band collaborates on their set list, band name, band artwork, and they perform in 2 concerts!
SHOW INFORMATION
Show #1 will include their full set list. The first performance will perform at Rock Out Academy’s “Rockin’ Recital” on May 3, 2026. Students will also perform at a second Rock Out Academy Concert event on August 16, 2026!

CLASS DAYS

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Acting & singing, and movement come alive in this exciting new class where students learn how to put on an original musical! They will learn vocal technique, exercises, monologue & dialogue drills, pitch, comedic delivery, movement and more!
SHOW INFORMATION
Show #1 will include their full show. The first performance will perform at Rock Out Academy’s “Rockin’ Recital” on May 3, 2026. Students will perform a shortened portion of their show at IDC’s Summer Recital on May 23rd!

AGES: 6-Adult
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Students take part in an exciting class full of rhythm, cadences, noise making with various objects, instruments and bucket drumming. This class teaches timing, technique, performance, and students conclude with 2 entertaining shows set to rock music!

ACT OUT

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Students learn basic acting skills, how to project their voice, and character development
Students learn how to deliver dialogue and use music to learn how to move their body and do acting exercises/games. The program concludes with a short performance & demo of what the students learned.

Rock Out Academy
CLASS DAYS
THURSDAYS: 1 PM-2:15 PM
CLASS DESCRIPTION -BEGINNER CLASS AGES 8-ADULT: Monday’s beginner/novice group is best for players who are brand new to guitar or playing for under a year or are a bit rusty with their skills such as chords and note recognition. Players will learn guitar basics, proper technique, plus the group will collaborate on choosing their unique set list of 4-7 rock songs that they will perform in 2 different shows!
CLASS DESCRIPTION-ADVANCED CLASS AGES 11-ADULT: Tuesday’s intermediate/advanced group is best for players who are more familiar with guitar, know basic chords and have been playing for at least 1 year. Even players who consider themselves advanced will improve as they learn harder material. The group will collaborate on choosing their unique set list of 4-7 rock songs that they will perform in 2 different shows!
