SEEKING: Students who want to sing, play guitar, drums, bass, keyboard, brass & woodwinds
AGES: 8-ADULT
CLASS DESCRIPTION: Students are formed into a rock band and learn what it’s like to be in a real band. Each band will learn 5-8 songs including one original song that they will co-write together!
The band collaborates on their set list, band name, band artwork, and they perform in 2 concerts!
SHOW INFORMATION: Show #1 will include their full set list. The first performance will perform at Rock Out Academy’s “Rockin’ Recital” on April 11, 2026. Students will also perform at a second Rock Out Academy Concert event (TBA)!

TUESDAYS 7:30 PM-8:30 PM INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED

CLASS DESCRIPTION -BEGINNER CLASS AGES 8-ADULT: Monday’s beginner/novice group is best for players who are brand new to guitar, playing for under a year or are a bit rusty with their skills such as chords and note recognition. Players will learn guitar basics, proper technique, plus the group will collaborate on choosing their unique set list of 4-7 rock songs that they will perform in 2 live shows!
CLASS DESCRIPTION-ADVANCED CLASS AGES 11-ADULT: Tuesday’s intermediate/advanced group is best for players who are more familiar with guitar, know basic chords and have been playing for at least 1 year. Even players who consider themselves advanced will improve as they learn harder material. The group will collaborate on choosing their unique set list of 4-7 rock songs that they will perform in 2 live shows!
SHOW INFORMATION: Show #1 will include their full set list. The first performance will perform at Rock Out Academy’s “Rockin’ Recital” on April 11, 2026. Students will also get to perform at a second Rock Out Academy show (TBA)!

CLASS DESCRIPTION: This group voice class teaches vocal technique, breath support, pitch, exercises & warm-ups, projection, confidence, terminology, ear training, and performance!
Vocalists of all ages will prepare a set list of 5-8 songs, perform in 2 live shows.
SHOW INFORMATION: Show #1 will include their full show. The first performance will perform at Rock Out Academy’s “Rockin’ Recital” on April 11, 2026. Students will perform a shortened medley from their show at IDC’s Summer Recital on May 17th where they will be accompanied by live dancers!

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Acting & singing, and movement come alive in this exciting new class where students learn how to put on an original musical! They will learn vocal technique, exercises, monologue & dialogue drills, pitch, comedic delivery, movement and more!

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Students are formed into a pop group, where they learn how to perform a full show with melodies, harmonies, movement, and all the fun of being in a pop group. The class concludes with 2 live performances!

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Students take part in an exciting class full of rhythm, cadences, noise making with various objects, instruments and bucket drumming. This class teaches timing, technique, performance, and students conclude with 2 entertaining shows set to rock music!

THURSDAYS: 6 PM-7PM
AGES: 12-ADULT / CLASS DESCRIPTION: This group class teaches the ins and outs of songwriting from professionals who write for other artists and have released original music.
Students will learn how to write as a group and will co-write an entire setlist of 3-6 original songs. Then they will perform their original songs in 2 live shows!
